Lawn Crew Member

Objective: Under close supervision, responsible for performing a range of common lawn care duties including, but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading lawn care products from vehicles, operating mowers and line trimmers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist crew under direction of Lawn Crew Leader on job site.

  • Able to and licensed to operate machinery and equipment required for position.

  • Arrive on time for each work day.

  • Properly document hours worked each day.

  • Always working while on job site to ensure efficiency and productivity of the crew.

  • When approached by a customer, always directs them to the Crew Leader or Lead Foreman when available on the jobsite.

  • Treats all customers with courtesy and respect by properly acknowledging and greeting on jobsite.

  • Projects professionalism of the company by wearing clean khaki pants/shorts, boots, uniform shirt/sweatshirt and safety equipment such as eye and ear protection.

  • Operates company vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Hourly pay of $15 - $17

  • Up to five paid holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday 7:30AM Start time

  • Some Saturdays when needed

  • Rarely work on Sundays

Requirements for Position:

  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

  • DOT Medical Card

  • Prefer 1-2 years mowing experience.

  • Ability to drive truck with trailer.


Maintenance & Construction Crew Member

Objective:  Under close supervision, responsible for performing a range of common manual labor duties including, but not limited to, lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading lawn care products from vehicles, digging and refilling holes and routine grounds maintenance tasks. Crew members assist specialists with production and provides assistance in an overall team effort.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist crew under direction of Crew Leader on jobsite.

  • Able to and licensed to operate machinery and equipment required for position.

  • Flexibility to be moved to different projects depending on needs of the crew.

  • Arrive on time for each work day.

  • Properly document hours worked each day.

  • Always working while on jobsite to ensure efficiency and productivity of the crew.

  • When approached by a customer, always directs them to the Crew Leader or Lead Foreman when available on the jobsite.

  • Treats all customers with courtesy and respect by properly acknowledging and greeting on jobsite.

  • Assists Irrigation Technician as needed.

  • Oversee and direct lawn crew members.

  • Able to and licensed to operate all machinery and equipment.

  • Properly manage time and efficiency of crew on the jobsite.

  • Able to delegate work as it pertains to the job and the crew member.

  • Completes daily vehicle and equipment checks to ensure proper fuel levels and operation.

  • Reports damaged or missing equipment and supplies to the Lead Foreman.

  • Assists crew in securing proper supplies and equipment for each job.

  • Provides immediate communication to customer when Lead Foreman is not available.

  • Regularly reports to the Lead Foreman regarding progress of project.

  • Works with subcontractors to provide necessary manpower when needed.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Hourly Pay of $18-$20

  • Up to six paid holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Lead Foreman

Objective:  To achieve profitability goals and maximize productivity, revenue growth and retention, while ensuring delivery of best in class customer service.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee foremen and labor crews for landscaping, maintenance and snow removal/ice management.

  • Operate all machinery and equipment.

  • Assist in properly training all new hires.

  • Ensure productivity on job site to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Communicates with office staff regarding scheduling, progress of project, concerns or complaints and additions to project.

  • Provides daily and weekly reports to direct supervisor.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Hourly pay of $20 - $24

  • Vacation Time:  5 days (40 hours)

  • Personal Time:  5 days (40 hours)

  • Up to six paid holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

The right candidate for the position must possess the following skills/licenses/certifications:

  • Honesty, Reliability, Leadership & Problem-Solving Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • MA Hoisting License 1C/2A

  • 2 years Landscaping Foreman experience - Residential and Commercial

  • Experience operating the following equipment: Bobcat, Bark Blower, Hydroseeder

  • Snow removal and ice control experience.

  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and DOT Medical Card
